Alpine Bikes have just received the new 2009 Trek Fuel EX8s and Remedy 8s. Both of these bikes have been grabbing the world's cycling press and making them look twice.

The Remedy 8 is being touted as one of the best 6" travel trail bikes on the market. MBUK's own Andrew Dodd has proclaimed Trek's new platform as being "an ideal machine for the Mega Avalanche downhill run or any amount of similar Alpine shenanigans". Specced with a full Shimano XT drivetrain, Juicy 5 brakes and Rock Shox benchmark Lyrik fork this bike is a proper do-everything, big mountain bike.

Trek's 2009 Fuel EX8 is a revision of the hugely successful 2008 variation. The EVO Rocker link is now a one piece magnesium casting which brings the weight down whilst putting the stiffness up. Also new this year are the Shimano SLX cranks to go along with SLX shifters and the XT Shadow rear mech. What Mountain Bike magazine named the 2008 Trek Fuel EX8 as the "Best All-Round Full Suspension Bike" - Trek have made the best better!
Both of these bikes can be found in selected Alpine Stores. Contact your nearest branch for details.
